Position Overview:

Serve customers by selling pest, termite, wildlife, exclusion, encapsulations, attic remediation services to commercial organizations or residential settings to meet their needs. Maintain relationships with strategically assigned commercial and residential clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceeds minimum expectations for revenue and profit.
  • Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Develop and maintains a list of prospective customers utilizing various methods (e.g., cold calls, trade shows, mailing lists, networking, etc.).
  • Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Research for developing prospective customers and gather information to determine their potential.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Identify potential customers; make contact with prospects using telephone, letters, and/or face-to-face visits for the purpose of selling company services. Develops matrix of contacts within prospect organizations.
  • Conduct inspections at client premises; prepare sales proposals and contracts that are clear, concise, grammatically correct, and benefit-oriented; pricing is consistent with company guidelines.
  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, operations and technical services.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Participate in trade shows and conventions.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective customers.
  • Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company services.
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers.
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Reports and paperwork are thorough, accurate, legible, and on time. Uses company resources/property in a skillful, professional, and respectful manner.
  • Contact new customers shortly after starting service to ensure satisfaction; reports customer concerns to appropriate person(s).
  • Maintain relationship with assigned client base to ensure satisfaction with company services. In addition, meet with assigned clients on a mutually agreed frequency; review pricing/service structure and agreements on an annual basis; and resolves complaints.
  • Maintain sales database data, by accurately, thoroughly, and regularly inputting data, submit sales report, including but not limited to daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly territory analysis, and annual territory analysis. Develop sales action plan for the branch.
  • Interact with others in a friendly, positive, and professional manner. Behave and treats others in accordance with the Company’s commitment, Code of Ethics, Environmental Philosophy and Vision.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by his/her immediate supervisor.

Education Required

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience Required

2 years’ experience in Sales (will train a highly motivated salesperson that is comfortable with spiders, wildlife, ladders, rooves and crawlspaces)

The employee is required to regularly drive a company vehicle between client sites and must have a valid driver’s license with an exceptional driving record.

Please be aware the job requires getting into crawlspaces and attics regularly to perform thorough inspections.

Work Environment

Work in an office setting and in a variety of client settings that will include exposure to seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions and hot conditions with possible extreme temperatures.

Licenses & Certifications Required

Driver’s License

Pass and maintain any state regulatory agency required licensing and certification exams.
